Dub Sloth

First I'd like to apologise for the lack of update yesterday, i was really busy with page two of the comic because i got the text in late.

So, to make it up to you, today there will be a double entry.

This image is another classic, from when i just started photo manipulation. First item i ever did "for" dubstep.nl.

A little piece of photo manipulation, created with dubstep.nl in mind and dubstep blasting out the woofers.

Created from bits found with google, chopped up and filtered in the most bizarre of ways.

Aan de andere kant van het schoolplein.

An image i made from a photo of a good friend of mine.

Done entirely in photoshop, i used google image to find some additional content. I used several textures to get the right atmosphere, and eventually some adjustments and filters to pull the whole image together, reather then it being individual images stuck together.

To enhance the contrast between the dreamy background and the bleak reality, i saturated the colors in the background to an extremem, whilst allmost removing all color from the foreground.

Een beeltenis gebouwd om een foto van een goede vriendin van me.

Volledig in elkaar gezet in photoshop, en ik heb google image gebruikt om aanvullend beeldmateriaal te vinden. Ik heb verscheidene texturen gebruikt om de juiste sfeer te krijgen, en uiteindelijk ook wat aanpassingen en filters om alles meer een geheel te laten worden, in plaats van verschillende foto's die bij elkaar geplakt zijn.

Om het contrast tussen de dromerige achtergrond en the "harde" realiteit wat te benadrukken, heb ik de kleuren van de achtergrond tot in het extreme verzadigd, terwijl ik juist de kleuren in de voorgrond bijna volledig heb weggehaald.
